Jungle gym at William Read listed like tower of pisa after asphalt melted.

Some CUNT bought egg sandwiches on the school trip to the zoo and left them on the coach all day. STENCH and Gagging ensued.

Started work in a proper ,old school drawing office...never looked back..Got my first 'proper' car a Mk.2 Cortina 1600E with an 8 track tape player...it had been 'breathed' on somewhat..a lovely dark maroon plum colour...must be worth a fortune now, gave it to my kid brother when I moved to Canada...it didn't last long, sadly.
As for my love life,I went out with the beautiful Feltham Harvest queen who's legs were lovely and long but mysterious welded together (what Harvest went on in Feltham,I have still to discover...caught a very respectable 6 ib tench and a 26lb pike..long hot summer was spent in St.Ives ,Newquay and Padstow ,working in a surf shop on Front street ,Padstow...I've never been able to surf..

Set my beer-drinking record of 12 pints in a session (also had another in the evening).

13 pints in a day would kill me now.

PS This was proper real ale, not the weak as piss lager that was around in those days

Superb all round.
My son and I do a good rendition of the main theme on synths. I am on the bass notes and he does everything else (being an actual proper painist he can use both hands at once without his brain melting).

IOC. Never seen it mate. But will look out for. Stockard Canning always worth a watch. As for the Carpenter gig. Packed in like sardines. First half was a set from his album. But the second half was a run through his classic score. Certainly one to tell the grandkids about in years to come.

That long summer was great (no global warming then!!!) I was 8 and it was heaven bar playing on a felled tree stump and then suffering 80% bites from some bloody critters on it for the next few days! Can't believe I remember that!

Be a thing to see.

Have you seen The Big Bus, I forgot it was that year. Different kind of disaster movie but lots of sort of recognizable names being abused

Assault on Precinct 13.
Not just a great film from 76. Or the 70’s. But a classic full stop.

Brilliant film. Superb score.
